A simple kotlin project managed by maven

Requirements

It does not care about your kotlin compiler available at command line. Kotlin is provisioned as a dependency and plugin for now on.

Tests already run during the build but you can run just them if you want:

mvn test

Don't get overwhelmed by the ugliness of the pom.xml file. Once configured you rarely will need to look at that again, except for the dependency section.
We'll discuss tests and coverage later, this project offers just a sample.
Nowadays java libraries will tell you the maven coordinates instead of a direct download link.
Maven projects generated from command line often list an outdated version of junit testing library dependency. it's ofter a good idea to upgrade it to the newest version, junit-jupiter

Enable maven wrapper on this project
